ToyVella started with a simple frustration: most toys hold a child's attention for about five minutes.

We look for the other kind — the ones kids come back to. Montessori materials, STEM kits, puzzles and quiet activity books that build real skills while children think they're just playing.

What we look for

• Open-ended play. No single right answer, no instructions to follow once.
• Skills that carry. Fine motor control, spatial reasoning, patience, problem-solving.
• Screen-free. No batteries, no apps, no notifications.
